Lunch at Italiannies & GC Lab

Went lunch at Italiannies wth Rene, Ruenn, TL & Ah Mo today. Supposed to go Pyramid earlier becos Rene wanted to redeem the McD Sausage McMuffin for breakfast which lasts till 11am only, haha, but I hadn't finished my Instru report. We went to Pyramid by courtesy of Rene's so-called "model" fren who is sooo totally unexpected, short instead of tall, fair feminine features instead of macho, hunky guy we expected. TL or Rene even commented tht is he "bak zham gai".. XD Cos his legs are sooo thin & fair, hairless too.. :s

We had the set lunch for 4 which consisted of 1 appetiser, 3 main meals & 1 dessert.. This time the food was a disappointment compared to last time (Eling's bday lunch). Camwhored here & there a bit then headed back to uni for 1pm Cell Met lect. Shrimp Linguine looked good but was kinda weird tasting salty even wth soo much tomato sauce, Minestrone Soup so-so only (Marsala Mushroom soup was much better) wth the small pathetic portion so called for 4 persons!!! Even 1 or 2 persons could finish it!! Garlic Chicken Pizza was better off but slightly dry, Grilled Chicken Milanese was chicken breast meat in creamy sauce, 3 pathetic small pieces of chicken. We had Raisin Bread Pudding instead of Cappucino Pie which was not ready, the pudding was too yucky.. Sweet, not even a lot of raisins wth the bread soaked in the sweet sauce, not definitely my type of dessert!! My last visit here was definitely better!!

After tht was Instru Lab where we observed how GC was done. In between sampling time which was very long, we were chitchatting & gossiping wth Eric our lab demo. He told us about the science office politics & scandalous profiles of the science lecturers.. Hoho, heard some inside stories which were "interesting".. ;p Didn't really knew tht in science course there are also so much politics to be dealt wth.. Truly an eye-opening experience.. XD

Saturday is Happy Day!!

Dinner session: Up-> Sis's creamy cabonara mushroom spaghetti-- definitely nt my cup of tea
Down ->The Bro's Butter chicken rice, smells soo good.. Yumms. Only hims can finish tht amt of rice.. hahaa..

Went out lunch at The Curve, Vivo to meet up wth darling Eva for the first time since she came back here!! Along wth us was Serene, Vic & Eling who was supposed to show up. But since she had forgivable reason, well we'll just have to wait another time to meet up wth her.. Hehee.. Can't wait for tht.. I missed shopping wth u both, Eva & Eling!!! Eva's was crazy about dieting today since she had only salad for lunch.. That's soooo un-sporting of her!!! Well, at least my Tropical Chicken Chop was not bad. It was definitely better than everyone's dishes.. Harhar.. ^.^ After lunch, Eva the sui po had to leave early due to some unavoidable reasons.. But we forgive her cos she agreed to go out wth us again SOON!! Keep ur word ya, miss.

So we (me, rene & vic) went down to the bazaar to check out the stuff. It was starting to drizzle so we just went ahead to get what we want then ended up heading to Cineleisure for movie since it was raining already. A huge debate was argued over what movie to watch. I voted NT2, Vic said Alvin & chipmunks & rene said The House!!! Over & over, at last managed to persuade Rene to rewatch it wth us!!! Sorry babe & thanks for complying wth our selfish demands.. ngek ngek.. *evil grin* NATIONAL TREASURE 2 was FANTASTIC!! I love Nicholas CAge's character in it, Ben Gates, such a humorous & annoying cute guy!!! Hmm.. I think i'm interested in this kind of guy. Any intros anyone?? *winks* I spotted some cute patent pumps in Cineleisure, unfortunately either wrong colour or wrong size.. I pity the really old lady who was manning of of the shoplots there.. My sympathies to her.. <3 After movie, went back down to bazaar. Along the way, Rene managed to spot a pweety sweet candy pink vertical stripes smocked tube.. I persuaded her to get it instead of the godawful weird purple colour which wud not suit her skin. Haha.. & she also grabbed 1 white ribbon sash shorts wth cute buttons.. See, whenever Miss Shopaholic's in action, a set of outfit was completely purchased in less than 10 minutes!! My applause to her , I really need to kow tou her..

Headed home, showered then it was time to go out for dinner.

Tonight, Daddy intro-ed us a nice, busy & cosy restaurant named Strawberry Fields if i'm not mistaken, somewhere in States, PJ New Town. The menu was super freaking long, a combi of Thai, Western & Malaysian food. Talk about fusion.. But it took us a long long time to decide our meals cos there wasn't a lot of pics in it.. What a bummer.. But in the end, a full dinner wth 2 big & cheap bowls of desserts: Ice kacang & Tha Tim Grob (thai dessert).. Yumms.. Satisfied wth the food tht I've enjoyed today.. Thanks to Daddy & family & my lovelies who had lunch wth me today!!! Yeah, can't wait for next outing wth Eling!! yooHoo.. dancing wth joy..
