Bored outta my brains!! Raining in the nite.. Woke up ard 7am today to finish up my Instru asgmt 1. Reached uni ard 9.30am. Went Gen lect which was as usual BORING!! I was searching for answers & doing Instru tut, but ended up Dr Lim showed up in class & informed us tht Dr Emily is on sick leave. Wat a bummer, we had to listen to him for almost 2 hours!!! Worst part is the answers I wrote for the tut was on Ruenn's paper (I left mine at home ;( The last half an hour, Ruenn & Rene was playing ard wth Rene's Galaxie mag she bought. They were scribbling & drawing on the faces on the cover page. >.<>.< style="font-weight: bold;">DID NOT return me my RM5 change. & I was distracted by Ruenn asking him for more serviettes. In the end, he DID NOT return me my RM5 change. Stupid of me to be so blur & forgetful!!! next time gotta be more cautious!! Speaking for forgetful-ness, Rene was very forgetful today.
After lunch we went to Gen lab. Soon after Rene, Ruenn & Henry etc came from their Gen tut. Then Rene was searching for her hp before putting her bag into the cupboard. This was when she started panicking because se couldn't find it. Similar thing happened last time but we managed to find her phone somewhere near her. But this time, it wasn't in her bag neither it was in her folder. We started retracing her steps & where she could had left it. Since she said she did not take out her phone during tut, it was most prolly left in Instru classroom. Off she went to search for her phone. Later she came back looking worried saying she couldn't find it. Then suddenly she rmbered she did not check the computer table in the classroom. During break, she was using the comp to transfer files from someone. So she hurriedly left wth Rene. Ruenn went along too. After a while I called Ruenn, she said 3 of 'em was outside Instru class but there were students in it already. I told Ruenn to go knock the door & ask the lecturer. Hahah..
Then I went back into lab, Dr Robin was telling about repeating last week's lab because he wanted to try for better results for certain genes. Lucky for ur group we managed to get the engrailed wild type gene. Hoorah.. Angels must have been watching down over us. We did engrailed gene for previous 2 labs & the results were successful. So it was joy rather than suffering because other genes were harder to obtain good results, some of it the flies prolly weren't fertile enough. The amt of eggs, hahah, was sooo little. We were LUCKY again because we ended up wth 1 PERFECT embryo stained perfectly. Then we were the first group to leave lab at 4pm!!! The earliest we left Gen lab so far.
Rene dragged Nini to go to Village Park to yumcha wth us. Henry said he would join us once he finishes. It started drizzling when we passed by DJ & when we reached Uptown, as usual parking was hard to find. We went two rounds searching but Rene ended up double parking once we saw Nini double parked in front of Village Park. Me & Rene ate the usual food as yesterday. I ate 3 eggs today (1 during lunch & 2 half boiled in VP!!!) High cholesterol!! Lucky for Henry Rene's fish ball soup came late. If not, when he reached all of us would had finished our food already. He had his early dinner b4 running off to gym as usual.
After reaching home ard 5 smtg, I started a bit on Instru half report. How unusual, I was in mood & the internet connection was down because smtg was wrong wth the modem outside. Sis was trying to fix it so I started on my work. I was tired ard 7pm so went to rest on bed. Fell asleep till 9pm. Went down to prepare dinner for my doggie & ate vege for dinner. Hahha, good because I had such high calorie & high cholesterol lunch + yumcha session. After dinner, did dishes & watched TV for awhile.
Now it's 11+ pm, blogging since connection's back on, no one's online yet & I have yet to shower. >.<
