Yoohhoo.. I know I've been really lazy to do my updates.. So I've decided to just do a summary list of anything tht has happened to me these past few days (or the whole holidays ;p).. I'll try to KISS.. Lol.. I mean Keep. It. Short. & Simple. only for the headlines.. lol. yay...
My house almost got robbed (i think it was on a Fri-last wk), but no worries I'm perfectly fine as to be blogging here. Appearently, two robbers pretending to be salesmen were going ard ringing doorbells in a PERDANA (cos my neighbour was the one who told us this whole story.. *imagine tht we weren't even aware of it*). Bro & sis were alone at home. Those 2 idiots tot no one were at home (cos bro din c anyone went he heard the doorbell) & decided to jump into our compound. Lucky for us, my doggie Joey had barked & scared them away so those idiots jumped INTO our neighbour's compound. God, how daring they were.. It was like 11AM, bright daylight.. They also tried to break into neighbour's hse, luckily their back door was locked, even though my neighbour kept calling the police hotline, there were no answers.. *Gosh, this shows how EFFICIENT police are, HOTLINE is not even one piishh* So luckily for everyone, those robbers ran away. [The story was depicted by our good neighbour who saw us when we were on our way out to jap dinner at Hokano tht nite. At least the yummy jap food compensated for the scaring news] ****So beware ppl, dun open doors to unknown strangers ringing the doorbell..
Satiating my shopping desire by obsessively browsing & buying from online boutiques *I'll a list of links ASAP, trust me the goods are worth it, cheap as hell..* I've gotten some new items tht are to be kept as new year clothes.. >.< if not mummy will nag as usual, but pics shud b up later which leads to good news -->> read below
I'VE GOTTEN BACK THE CAMERA.. yippeee..wow, didn't realise how much u need smtg & it isn't here.. In case u haven't heard, due to my clumsy fingers, we had to send the cam to be serviced.. Well, at least there was warranty.. phew..
Dinner outing wth dad's fren who came down from Singapore wth his family - After class on Fri, went straight to OU to fetch sis & mum.. Once home, I had to wrap the chocolates as sort of xmas present for them. I also made cards out of the little tin-man or Nutcracker thingy pamphlet I got from OU the other day.. Hahhaa, talk about recycling..
Dinner was so-so only due to our kinda awkwardness cos me & sis were on same table wth Uncle Clifford's 2 children, Rachel & Nicholas when the adults (like 8 of them). Not to say we dun know them at all, but we just see each other once a year.. So u know.. But after a while, the conversations pretty much were in flow.. After dinner we leaded them back to One World Hotel.. The adults adjourned to the Cinnamon coffee house to continue chatting whilst me & sis took up roles as tour guides for Nicholas & Rachel to scout ard OU for their shopping trips the next day. The view was amazing from the hotel room no to mention the heavy traffic on a Fri nite..We took the link btween OneWorld Hotel to OU which lead us to somewhere near SoHo & the bridge section between the new & old wing..
There were many shoppers ard & more cinema-goers at ard 10!! Imagine having dinner so late at 10!! Hmm.. No way for me.. & I prefer less crowded places.. After showing them the way to the cinema, bowling alley, departmental stores & some sport shops (read: Nike & Adidas).. We headed back to join out parents at the coffee house.
Cinnamon had a good dessert bar I have to say, we were drooling over the chocolate fountain & assortment of cakes.. I had allowed myself to devour an Oreo Vanilla Ice Blended Latte which I rarely get to drink while sis ordered a mixed fruit smoothie (strawberry & sumthin.. but it was sweet wth a nice sour-ish touch i liked ;p) Drinks were slow to come as the staff were probably eating the desserts as few of them came out to stop by the dessert bar which was in front of our table to grab some supper.. >.< style="font-style: italic;">oreolicious *yummy* but i was freezing by the time i finished half of it.. almost got brain freeze.. lol.. consequences..

I am Legend Trailer - i love Will Smith *yiks*
- I am Legend - by one of my FAV actors, Will Smith.. He has really embodied the character in this movie & such a hot bod kay for a father of 2 (is it really 2?? hmm nvm) Quite a sense of desperation & loneliness was felt in the character, such a poor thing.. imagine u had only ur dog to accompany u EVERY SINGLE DAY while u try desperately to figure out a cure for the deadly virus.. It was supposed to be a suspense movie but then some parts had me in tears cos I felt how lonely he was especially when even SAM the dog died.. & u could see how desperate he was when he was talking to mannequins in the stores.. >.<
- August Rush - An artistic movie tht was both romantic & filled wth wonderful musical talents.. & I've learnt to not rely on critics as it was soo good.. The young boy who acted as a child prodigy was so cute & talented.. As he quoted in the movie, "I believe in music the way some people believe in fairy tales. But I hear it came from my mother and father. Once upon a time, they fell in love." This movie was romantic but not in a cheesy way. His parents had a fell-in-love-at-first-sight thingy (actually, more to a first night) then they got separated not by choice. It was a journey of a young kid in search for his parents while concocting a wonderful mixture of warmth, love & music.. It's gotta be in my list of FAV movies rite now.. It was also great tht Johnathan Rhys Meyers sang the song himself in the movie, not a bad voice in fact, plus a superly handsome face- he's got really spellbinding eyes.. Hmm.. I believe in fairy tales.. How I un-rationally wish it could happen to me.. *wink*
Doing my BizStats assignment to be due on WED - Well, I shud be going out shopping, at 1u/ou earlier in the day for sis's uniform & etc, & at Chocco (a new boutique near my hse -->DU if u dun know) 2mr which is Christmas Day wth luncheon wth mummy & my fav aunts, Aunt Peggy & Aunt P.C. Can't wait to go shopping!! LoL.. i absolutely *heart* it
We've gone there few times & are quite familiar wth the lady manager there, she's a superly warm & friendly person.. Hahha.. Had a ShihTzu kept in the staff room in there, too bad she doesn't let it come out to play.. Hhaha, maybe someday I'll ask to play wth her doggie.. ;p So hence, a lil work has to be in progress b4 I go out for the day.. Hehee..
Catching trailers for movies to come in 2008 - Such as JUMPER which is think is one amazing movie not to be missed in the cinemas. Good to see Hayden Christensen (fr. Star Wars) and Rachel Bilson (The OC) in it. How cool is it to be a "JUMPER"?? Read: A person who possesses the ability to teleport ("jump") from place to place (I wanna be one!!! ;p).. Somehow I think it won't be the usual heroes wth superpowers like the usual Spiderman, Batman kind.. They dun wear uniforms for sure..
It's gonna be out here in Malaysia on Feb 14th 2008, coinciding wth Valentine's Day.. Great movie to catch.. I'm excited.. U'll be after u've watched tis... or check for more at www.jumperthemovie.com :]
